In Conversation:

How did you get into modelling and at what age?

I was 20 when I started modeling. I was in acting school in NYC when I was approached by a model scout.

Did your parents agree to let you travel and be in such shady industry?

Yes, as I was already an adult. But they were not happy about it.

Did you have any dream job or other plans before getting into modelling?

I wanted to be an actress and I have been getting into acting again now.

Do you remember your first modelling job?

One of my first jobs was the Punto/Akris campaign with Steven Klein shot in NYC in a huge studio. I was very nervous.

Do you have any favorite designers that you worked with?

Many! Alexander McQueen, Karl Lagerfeld, Yves SaintLaurent, Tom Ford, Gian Franco Ferre and Galliano to name just a few.

What was the scariest experience for you as a model?

Being on top of a glacier crevice balancing on one leg in a mini skirt for the Hermes campaign.

Something you are proud of in your modelling journey?

Having worked with some of the greatest artists, photographers and designers of the time.

Who's a model you looked up to?

When I was starting out my favorite models were Kate Moss and Linda Evangelista.

Your favorite print work?

I can’t decide between an Italian Vogue story with Peter Lindbergh where I was styled as a boy or a photo with Helmut Newton that his wife June took that is now on the cover of the Taschen book “Us and them”.
