Nina worked with British Vogue, Vogue Italia, Vogue Germany & Vogue Paris for various beautiful editorials. Nina also scored the Versace Fall 2001 campaign shot by none other than Steven Miesel

I was 20 when I started modeling. I was in acting school in NYC when I was approached by a model scout.
Did your parents agree to let you travel and be in such shady industry?
Yes, as I was already an adult. But they were not happy about it.
Did you have any dream job or other plans before getting into modelling?
I wanted to be an actress and I have been getting into acting again now.
Do you remember your first modelling job?
One of my first jobs was the Punto/Akris campaign with Steven Klein shot in NYC in a huge studio. I was very nervous.
Do you have any favorite designers that you worked with?
Many! Alexander McQueen, Karl Lagerfeld, Yves SaintLaurent, Tom Ford, Gian Franco Ferre and Galliano to name just a few.
What was the scariest experience for you as a model?
Being on top of a glacier crevice balancing on one leg in a mini skirt for the Hermes campaign.
Something you are proud of in your modelling journey?
Having worked with some of the greatest artists, photographers and designers of the time.
Who's a model you looked up to?
When I was starting out my favorite models were Kate Moss and Linda Evangelista.
Your favorite print work?
I can’t decide between an Italian Vogue story with Peter Lindbergh where I was styled as a boy or a photo with Helmut Newton that his wife June took that is now on the cover of the Taschen book “Us and them”.
